Pandas have been my favourite animal for as long as I can remember.
When I first started designing, I knew I wanted to create something panda-related. Not just because they’re adorable (which they absolutely are), but because of what they represent.
Pandas symbolize peace and gentle strength.
They’re calm, soft, and grounded — yet incredibly resilient. There’s something comforting about that balance. And for a nursery collection, that felt exactly right.
So I started placing simple shapes together in Canva. Circles for ears. Ovals for eyes. Small curves for detail. Piece by piece, a panda came together on my screen.
That design became the anchor for the nursery collection at Bee & Lilac Co.
It started with a love for pandas — and grew into a brand built on softness, meaning, and intentional design.
